Logo design agency

Hiring a logo design agency makes sense for exactly one reason, and it is not that the drawing will be prettier. It is that somebody will ask what the mark has to survive: an app icon, a shop sign, an embroidered polo, a single color stamp on a box, and a competitor already using the same shade of blue.

  • More than 10 years of experience
  • More than 200 clients
  • Barcelona, Miami and London

What a logo design agency does that a generator does not

Generators are genuinely good now. Type in a name, pick an industry, get a competent mark in ninety seconds for very little money. For a side project or a business testing whether it has customers, that is the correct choice and we will say so.

What you do not get is the questioning. A generator will not tell you the symbol is a near copy of the trade association logo in your sector, that it turns to mud at favicon size, or that the name reads as something unfortunate abbreviated. It cannot, because it does not know what you do.

The second thing missing is the system. A generator gives you a picture. What a business needs a year later is the set of rules that let anyone apply the mark without asking: what it sits next to, how small it can go, what happens on a photograph.

A logo is a system, not a picture

Almost every problem clients arrive with is a system problem rather than a drawing problem. The mark itself is fine. What is missing is the horizontal version for the website header, the stacked version for the app, the one color version for the invoice, and any agreement about which to use where.

  • Primary mark plus the secondary lockups that real layouts demand, horizontal and stacked
  • A single color version and a reversed version, tested on dark backgrounds and on photography
  • Small size behavior, checked at favicon and at embroidery scale, where fine detail simply disappears
  • Clear space and minimum size rules, which is what stops the mark being squashed into a corner
  • Color values for screen, print and vinyl, which are three different sets of numbers
  • Source files plus flattened versions, named so a printer can find the right one

How the work runs

Short projects, but not fast ones. The thinking takes longer than the drawing.

  • Brief and audit. What the business does, who it sells to, and what the competitors already look like. That last part rules out more ideas than anything else, and it is the step most often skipped.
  • Direction. We present a small number of reasoned routes, not a sheet of thirty options. Thirty options means the studio has not made a decision and is asking you to make it instead.
  • Refinement. One route developed properly: proportion, spacing, optical corrections, and the variants tested at the sizes the business actually uses.
  • System and handover. Rules, files and a short guide written for whoever has to use them, who is usually not a designer.

Ownership, originality and the boring parts

You get the editable source files and the rights to the work. That sounds obvious and it is not: marks bought from platforms and template libraries are frequently licensed rather than owned, and some are sold to more than one buyer. People discover this when they try to register a trademark.

We check what is already out there in your category before presenting anything, which reduces the risk of an awkward resemblance. That is a design check and not a legal clearance, and we say so plainly. Registration is a job for a trademark attorney, and a good mark is worth the search.

When you do not need a new logo

A surprising share of enquiries are solved by leaving the mark alone. If people recognize you and the business is working, replacing the logo throws away recognition you already paid for. Often the real problem is that there is one file, in the wrong format, and everything built around it is inconsistent.

Fixing that is a smaller, cheaper job than a redesign, and we would rather tell you that on the first call than three weeks in.

Both marks below started that way. The Museo Parhaus identity and the Micro Festival identity are in the portfolio, process included.

How we work

  1. Free consultation

We work out what you need, who it is for and what it has to achieve. You leave with a budget range and a proposal for where to start.

  2. Scope in writing

The exact pieces, versions, review rounds and dates. You know what you will pay before anything starts.

  3. Design in stages

Concept, development and final artwork, with an agreed review at the end of each stage and one person at the studio who answers.

  4. Delivery and follow-up

Production-ready files, the usage rules in writing, and follow-up with the printer whenever print is involved.

Frequent questions

Should I just use an AI logo generator?

If you are validating an idea, yes, and do not feel bad about it. Move to a studio when the mark starts appearing on things that cost money to change: signage, packaging, vehicle graphics, a product. The generator output is a starting point that nobody has pressure tested against your competitors or your smallest application.

What makes a professional logo design service different from a cheap one?

The work that happens around the drawing. A competitor audit before concepts, variants built for real applications, optical corrections at small sizes, and files organized so a printer does not call you. Cheap services deliver one image. The cost shows up later, in every piece somebody has to improvise.

How do I choose the best logo design company for my business?

Ignore the awards wall and ask two things. Can they explain why an old project looks the way it does in terms of the client business, and can you see the system rather than a hero image on a mockup. If the portfolio is all beauty shots and no reasoning, you are buying decoration.

Do I need a logo designer near me?

No, and searching that way filters on the wrong thing. What matters is whether you get the source files, whether someone answers when a printer queries an artwork, and whether the mark was tested at the sizes you will actually use. We work remotely and meet by appointment in Miami, Barcelona or London.

We are a brand new company. Is it too early for this?

Sometimes. If the offer is still moving weekly, a new company logo design will be redrawn within the year and that is wasted money. Once the thing you sell has settled and you are about to spend on signage, packaging or a website, that is the right moment.
