Web design company in Miami

We work as a web design company in Miami for businesses that need the site to do a job, not to look good in a screenshot. That means deciding what has to happen on every page before anyone opens a design tool. Running it the other way around is why so many brand new websites change nothing.

  • More than 10 years of experience
  • More than 200 clients
  • Barcelona, Miami and London

What separates a site that works from one that just looks good

A professional website is not the one with the most animation. It is the one that loads on a phone with two bars of signal, explains itself in about ten seconds, and walks the visitor to the place you wanted them to reach.

Almost every brief we get starts from the same place. There is a site, it is three or four years old, the person who built it stopped answering email, and nobody internally wants to touch it. Over time it filled up with pages nobody visits and lost the one page that was actually selling.

How the project runs, phase by phase

We work in closed phases with one validation per phase. That way nobody discovers in week seven that the navigation never made sense.

  • Architecture and content. The site map, the hierarchy, and which question or which search each page is answering. Eighty percent of the result gets decided right here, before anything is visual.
  • Wireframes. Structure in gray, no brand, no photography. It exists so you can argue about the order of the information without color getting in the way of the argument.
  • Interface design. The identity goes on, states get resolved, and the mobile version gets designed properly rather than squeezed, since that is where most of your traffic is arriving from.
  • Build. The site gets assembled and tested on phones, tablets and desktop, in more than one browser.
  • Launch. Migration, redirects from the old URLs, analytics, and a session so your team can edit without calling us every time a phone number changes.

Custom web design on WordPress

Most projects get built on WordPress for an unromantic reason: the client can edit their own copy without depending on us, and can hire somebody else down the line without starting over. A closed proprietary build locks people in, and locking clients in strikes us as a poor way to keep them.

Custom means the template does not give the orders. We start from what the project needs and build to fit it, instead of trimming the project until it fits a theme somebody bought.

Miami, South Florida, and clients nowhere near either

Plenty of the work is South Florida website design for companies a short drive from each other. Plenty of it is not. The process was built to run remotely, with scheduled sessions, phase validations and everything written down, so distance does not change how the project behaves.

Searching for a website designer near me is a sensible instinct, and for a while it was the right one. What it protected against was disappearing. If the person you hire answers the phone, sends the files, and hands over the passwords, they can be in the next building or on another continent.

What gets delivered

Handover is more than the site being live.

  • A responsive site tested on phone, tablet and desktop
  • Admin access plus a recorded walkthrough of how to edit it
  • Title tags, meta descriptions and the URL structure for every page, defined rather than autogenerated
  • Redirects from the old addresses if there was a previous site, the step most launches forget and then spend a quarter regretting
  • Analytics installed, so the next round of decisions runs on data instead of opinion
  • The design files, which are yours

What we are not going to promise you

A new website does not put you first on Google. It helps, and sometimes helps a lot, because it fixes speed, structure and content. Ranking is continuous work that happens afterward with numbers on the table.

We are also not going to recommend a fifteen section site if you sell one service and your customer arrives asking about that service. Three good pages beat fifteen mediocre ones and cost less to keep alive.

How we work

  1. Free consultation

We work out what you need, who it is for and what it has to achieve. You leave with a budget range and a proposal for where to start.

  2. Scope in writing

The exact pieces, versions, review rounds and dates. You know what you will pay before anything starts.

  3. Design in stages

Concept, development and final artwork, with an agreed review at the end of each stage and one person at the studio who answers.

  4. Delivery and follow-up

Production-ready files, the usage rules in writing, and follow-up with the printer whenever print is involved.

Frequent questions

What is the difference between UI and UX design?

UX is the set of decisions about what goes where and in what order, including the pages that should not exist. UI is how that resolves visually: type, spacing, states, buttons. A site can have a beautiful interface over a structure that sends people in circles, and that is the most expensive version of a good looking website.

What does the UX design process look like on a project this size?

For a corporate or services site it is lighter than the textbook version. We go through what you have, look at what people actually clicked on the old site if there is data, agree the site map, then test the structure in gray before design starts. Full research programs make sense for products with complex flows, not for a nine page site.

What are the main types of website design out there?

In practice you are choosing between a template you configure, a page builder someone assembles, and a custom build. Templates are cheap and start fighting you the moment your content stops matching what they expected. Custom costs more up front and then stops being a constraint.

What drives the cost of a custom website?

Number of unique page types rather than number of pages, since twenty pages sharing one layout is a small job. After that: whether copy and photography already exist, any integration with a CRM or booking system, and how many languages the site carries. Scope goes in writing before we start.

Should I hire a website designer near me or does it not matter?

It matters less than it did. Design gets reviewed on a screen, and phase validations work on a call with the file shared. What actually matters is whether there is a person on the other end who replies. If you want in person sessions we arrange them by appointment in Miami, Barcelona or London.

Tell us what your site has to do

Send us the site you have now, if there is one, and what you expect from the new one. We come back with a proposed structure and a phased calendar. The first call is free, and the qualification form takes a couple of minutes so the call starts with the useful questions.

We reply to the email you leave. We do not publish a postal address or phone number.
